Senator Rucker moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 2007— A Bill to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto two new sections, designated §30-3-20 and §30-3-20a; and to amend said code by adding thereto two new sections, designated §30-14-17 and §30-14-17a, all relating to prohibiting certain medical practices; providing definitions; providing that allopathic and osteopathic physicians may not provide irreversible gender reassignment surgery or gender altering medication as defined herein to a person who is under eighteen years of age; providing criteria for certain limited exceptions to this rule; and providing reporting requirements for the prescription of gender altering medications.
